o The different classifications of the stages of adulthood.
o Characteristics of physical development during adulthood, including the physiological changes associated with ageing.
o The social, emotional and intellectual development associated with the stages of adulthood and ageing
o Health status of Australia’s adults, similarities and differences between adult males and females.
o Determinants of health and individual human development of Australia’s adults including
o Biological – genetics
o Behavioural – food intake
o Physical – workplace safety
o Social environment – employment status and income.

o A range of issues facing Australia’s health system
o The key features of one health issue facing Australia’s health system, must include:
o Evidence about how significant the issue is
o The range of community and /or government views about the issue
o Actions, policies and/or strategies that may address the issue.
